My name is Matthew, I’m a Minneapolis Minnesota ex-pat who’s been in the Portland area for almost seventeen years. I’m currently in search of a new and exciting growth opportunity (Aren't we all?).
My life is simple; I love my family, my dogs, my work, and my home (And I love to cook)... Everything else is noise.
My goals are simple; I'm looking for a high-energy, committed, and optimistic team to join and lead with my broad landscape of talents between IT, business, leadership growth, and vision casting. I want to align with a vision and effort that excites me and make a big impact in building a product, and people.
High technical acumen and background: a solver in defining product strategy and leading cross-functional teams to innovative solutions with Agile methodologies in fast-paced startup atmospheres. Extensive history and certifications in all SAFe, Agile + SCRUM. A true servant leader and facilitator ready to own your product strategy!
I've been fortunate enough to be on some amazing teams. As a true servant leader I can only attribute the success of each product to that cross functional team, I am but a facilitator.
I've done SaaS products, Community services Products, Fundraising, Finance and that comes with a deep connection to all their subsequent UX.
From low to high fidelity projects, and from technical behind the scenes to hands on with customer interviews. I live product up and down.
The Reloader: The Reloader was Sanctuary's premier tech SaaS product to help clients reclaim metadata and agency over their Product. We were able to build over a dozen iterations of this product with great success.
The Next Generation of Giving Days: I spearheaded the next-generation overhaul of the Giving Days product, significantly improving user engagement and functionality
DAO Onchain Services: We built independent DAO and Multisig products for clients - allowing decentralized control over their assets.
Proof Of Pizza KYC: A KYC Protocol specific to the SOL ecosystem giving back investor confidence.
The Sanctuary: The Sanctuary as an umbrella service to house independent communities and give them tools and resources to rebuild.
The Entangler and the Xape project. The Precurser to "The Reloader" and our first data refinement SaaS tool at Sanctuary
PMO intake and repository system: At Genesis I took on building an entire PMO in the atlassian tool for all lines of business. Handeling everything from intake to completions.
Payment APIs and UX: Owned, created specs and tested multiple UX payment forms and APIs
Let's create, maintain and improve, products.
focusing on customer needs, business objectives, and effective execution. This involves gathering customer feedback, analyzing market trends, aligning product strategy with business goals, and using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
Focus on understanding the user through research and testing, and creating a cohesive design that reflects the company's brand and delivers a seamless user experience. This would lead to higher user engagement and satisfaction, and ultimately, a more successful product.
Focus on two key areas: collaboration and alignment. This involves working closely with all stakeholders to establish clear goals and priorities, and using agile methodologies to quickly iterate and adjust the product roadmap as needed.
There's basically nothing he can't figure out; his big brain and off-the-charts soft skills give him the ability to collaboratively lead teams to amazing outcomes. Highly recommended as a solid professional and human.
Matthew is a role model when it comes to servant leadership. He’d always listen to everyone, motivate us to share and speak up, and he’d be always focused on making us thrive. Empathy and care were 2 emotions I could feel every time I was working with him.
Matt is hard working, smart, creative, dedicated and most importantly a great human. He’s a pleasure to work with and any company would be lucky to have him! Working with him was definitely a highlight of my time at Genesis FS and I hope our paths cross again in the future!
